Houston has no shortage of culinary events, and this festival in The Woodlands has got a week full of ’em. Each event at Wine & Food Week on June 4-10 includes, you guessed it, wine and food. What a great world we live in. Click here to get tickets!

Wine & Dine with Kirby’s

When: June 6, 7 to 10 pm

Where: Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse in The Woodlands

Cost: $125 all inclusive (tax and gratuity included)

What: An evening of fine wine and chef tailored cuisine with Molly Meeker of Meeker Vineyard. Four-course tasting menu crafted by Chef Alexander, paired with the unique style of four Meeker wines. Get tickets fast, as seating is limited.

Cost: $25

HEB Wine Walk at Market Street

When: June 7, 5:30 to 8:30 pm

Where: Market Street

Cost: $20 to $75

What: At this 34-acre wine & food open-air street party, you can walk down Market Street and sample from literally hundreds of wines and craft beer selections and enjoy unique booths with artisan products and local services, most of which have killer deals and sales. Plus, tunes from Mango Punch in Market Street’s Central Park.

Ladies of the Vine Tasting, Panel and Luncheon

When: June 8, noon to 3 pm

Where: The Club at Carlton Woods Main Club House

Cost: $85

What: Hear from a panel of women winemakers, vineyard owners and wine experts about what it takes to get from the vineyard to your home and most importantly, why you love your preferred wine. PS. It’s always a sell-out. Ladies of the Vine starts with a reception tasting of featured selections by each panelist, then our guests are escorted to the main dining room, overlooking the golf course, and enjoy a multi-course luncheon perfectly paired with the panelist’s selections.

Sips, Suds and Tacos

When: June 8, 6 to 9 pm

Where: The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center

Cost: $25

What: Let’s taco ’bout this one. Everyone says they have the best taco, but you be the judge of that. Top area chefs create their special taco and fill the room with mouthwatering aromas guaranteed to rev up any appetite. Then, it’s time to put the taco to the test — judges pick their faves and you vote for yours. Sip on brews and vino and/or dance the night away to the music of The Robert Hartye Band.

The Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase

When: June 9, 7 to 10 pm

Where: The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center

Cost: $75 to $125

What: Don your finest attire for this one! The Gloria Ferrer Bubble Lounge greets you upon arrival and offers an array of sparkling selections then, at the main event, enjoy chef demonstrations, sample from more than 500 wines and taste gourmet food from 60 restaurants. At evening’s end, The Waterford Crystal Chef of Chefs Trophy and $5,000 cash is awarded to the best chef, as voted by a panel of esteemed judges.

Platinum Wine Vault Collectors Tasting

When: June 9, 4:30 to 6:30 pm

Where: The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Montgomery Ballroom

Cost: $250

What: The Platinum Wine Vault Collectors Tasting presented by Celebrity Cruises offers unique varietals and special blends served by experts well-versed in the finest wines. Each participant receives a premium keepsake wine glass and the entry fee includes access into the Platinum Wine Vault, the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting with access to the VIP Luxury Lounge and the opportunity to enjoy great wine with special guests. The Platinum Wine Vault closes promptly at 6:30 pm so guests can join the official pre-opening ceremony at 6:45 pm with the introduction of the Wine Wizard Master of Ceremonies, Guy Stout, Master Sommelier. The Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase begins at 7:00 pm.

Official Wine & Food Week Brunch at Robard’s Steakhouse

When: June 10, 11 am to 3 pm

Where: Robard’s Steakhouse

Cost: $49 Adults, $18 Kids 6-12, Kids 5 and Under Free

What: The new Sunday Market Brunch boasts culinary delights for every appetite including free-flowing Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s plus fresh seafood, ceviche and omelet stations, cured and smoked meats, cheeses, specialty pastries, salads, and your choice of Chef David’s Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Texas Sticky Bun French Toast, or Lobster Truffle Mac & Cheese and many other delectable brunch favorites.

Sunday Sundown Closeout Concert and Poetry Reading

When: June 10, 7 to 9 pm

Where: Bernhardt Winery

Cost: $15

What: Close out Wine & Food Week with an outdoor lawn concert at Bernhardt Winery, which will also be open for tasting and purchasing wine by the glass or bottle. Reserve a table or bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an assortment of cheeses, snacks, dips and crackers. Bring your own picnic baskets, but no outside alcohol allowed, and don’t bring high back lawn chairs or canopies that blocks view of the stage.
