Tacolandia: Might Be Code for “Heaven”

_mg_0069
Tacos aren’t just for Tuesdays in Texas. On Saturday, Oct. 19, Houston’s Buffalo Bayou turns into Tacolandia, and you’re obviously invited.

Event details

What: Lots of chefs and vendors serving the city’s finest tacos.

When: Saturday, Oct. 19 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Where: The Water Works at Buffalo Bayou Park, 105 Sabine St.

Tickets: $25 early bird, $35 ahead of time and $45 at the door. For VIP, it’s $65 early bird, $75 advanced and $85 at the door. Get ’em here.

Park: I’ll always tell ya to Uber — especially since you’re gonna wanna Michelada. (Or there is a lot right off Sabine, if you’re feeling lucky.)

Bonus: Entertainment. Last year, there were mariachi bands, wrestling (yes, wrestling), giveaways — all to the backdrop of downtown Houston.

Check out some shots from a past event, if you’re somehow not already drooling.

This post originally ran in 2016, but has been updated with this year’s information!
