What: Doc’s Motorworks
Where: Montrose
When we went: Post 5K in the Heights and Yoga at Raven Tower. Showed uppretty ravenous in workout clothes around 11:30am.
Who to bring: Your Sunday Funday crew. If you like nature in the sense that you like getting drunk on patios, Doc’s is the place to be.
When to go:
- If you just worked out because leggings are totally acceptable
- When you’re looking to get weird on a Sunday afternoon — not only is the brunch menu drinks on point, but if you for some reason need a change of scenery the Royal Oak, Pistoleros, and Stone’s Throw are all
walkingstumbling distance away. - If you’re brunching with a vegetarian or someone who’s gluten-free, plenty of options
- If you’re brunching with an Austinite, Doc’s is also in ATX so it’ll feel like a bit of home to them
What to order:
- CHEESEFRIES. No ragrets. EVER.
- One of everything off the drink menu. Seriously tho: $3 mimosas, build-your-own Bloody Mary bar, mimosas made with elderflower liquor, watermelon vodka, mango, pomegranate juice, and more
- Migas. Because Texas.
- We also enjoyed the Veggie Sandwich with Shiner Bock marinated portabella #YASSS, Powerbowl with grilled chicken, and the Steak and Eggs
