#BoxHaul: Rethinking Stitch Fix

OK, it’s official. I need to cancel my Stitch Fix. But, I’m doing it for a few reasons, NONE OF WHICH are because Stitch Fix is awful. It’s not. It’s amazing. And I love that it exists. But I’m canceling because I’m forced to realize something about myself: I don’t like surprises. I don’t even like gifts—nine times out of ten I will return it. And, I love sales. I love finding a dress at Target that mirrors a new Tory Burch trend. Stitch Fix is more for the stylish-wannabes but can’t because they have NO time to shop. Or for the people who crave coordinated outfits. I’m more eh about that.

OK, so all of this is to say that yes, I’ve discovered that I’m not a fan. But, I wish I was. Here’s my second Fix broken down.

Market & Spruce: Berneen Graphic Print Dolman

Olive & Oak: Connie Graphic Print Fringe Cardigan

OK, so I really liked this one. Very cozy, not SO overwhelmingly patterned, but it has a nice flair. Not crazy about the excessive fringe. $48 Ehh, next.

Sweet Rain: Isaac Floral Print Tab-Sleeve Blouse

Winner! Love the print, love the fit, totally my style. Can’t wait to wear this one. It was $48, though. EESH.

Bay to Baubles: Christy Layered Bauble Necklace

 

OK, this one I liked, but it’s a necklace… it’s $38…. wait what. Plus it looked kind of cheap. I don’t buy things that look cheap but aren’t. I buy things that are cheap, and if they look cheap, that’s OK because I paid not a lot for it.

Fate: Humboldt V-Neck Pullover

This is a simple v-neck sweater, but with gold zippers on the side. It was itchy 🙁 and too pricy for such a simple piece. It was $48. I have something like it I got from Old Navy for like 20 bucks.
