So for those of you salivating over the thought of avocados sizzling in hot oil, here’s how you make these babies on your own. Adapted from Eclectic Recipes.
For the avocados:
2 hass avocados (buy them slightly firm, so they maintain their shape)
1 cup flour
1 cup beer (not a light beer, choose something with a wheat flavor)
Siracha to taste (I used a lot, probably a solid tablespoon’s worth)
For the corn salsa:
1 cup corn
1 medium green bell pepper, diced
1 medium red bell pepper, diced
a large bunch of cilantro, roughly chopped
the juice of 1 lime
salt and pepper to taste
