Workout and Juice with Method and Nourish in Rice Village

MEthod Pilates Rice Village

I love a good pilates class (clearly), but how great is it when your pilates studio also has a juice bar? 10/10 weekend morning experience.

The new Method Pilates in Rice Village teamed up with Nourish (tbt to when I did a Nourish juice cleanse) to make all your pilates and juicing dreams come true!

I took an 8 a.m. class with Dani, who totally cracked me up — and at 8 a.m., that’s HARD. But with her witty instructions and bomb playlist, 8 a.m. stopped feeling early af.

If you’re like me and have tried ALL the pilates places here in Houston, Method ranks as much more accessible than Defy (read: a tad easier) but way more challenging than PosturFit, for instance. Definitely a class you can do 3-4 times a week and still, like, walk and stuff.

Currently, since the place is still in its soft opening, you can get 5 classes for $75. Their soft opening drop in pricing is pretty cheap too at $10.

Finally, aside from easy access to post-class juices or smoothies, my favorite thing about this studio is the little messages the have on the ground that you can read when you’re on their machines — which are custom, by the way! No other reformers out there like these! (I spoke with the owner who was in my class! She said she’s done pilates all over the world and she took all her favorite things and pieced them together to make her own studio.) Anways, the little messages are amazing. Mine said “How deep is your lunge” — HAHAA. But then there are others like “You look good from this angle” and “Get it right, get it tight!” So clever. So instagramable.
