No lie we love Favor Delivery around here (ahem, Favor-ites, anyone?!). Well, my Favor love is amplifying this Valentine’s season as the delivery service has launched its Chef’s Club series. Four chefs have custom, seasonal dishes featured on Favor across two weeks.
Wednesday, Feb. 8 to Tuesday, Feb. 14
“We wanted to give Houstonians something somewhat familiar, but with a flavor they have never experienced before. So we are offering our Biltong wings which have the Peri-Peri oil and Biltong, or tender beef jerky. This is a traditional dish in South Africa. Plus, with Spring approaching, it’s a good time for flavorful wings.” -Paul Friedman
Starting strong, Favor! The South African cuisine spot (psst. with a great happy hour!) is one of my favorite spots. These Bilitong Wings look so yummy — and I like the idea of eating them at home with no one judging the mess I make.
“Our Veruca Salt and Black Velvet cake are perfect for Valentine’s Day. While these cakes are great for two, we won’t judge if it’s just for you. The Veruca is made of Devil’s food cake, with salted caramel buttercream & pretzel crunch. And the Black Velvet cake is a blend of Red Velvet, cream cheese frosting, cherry jam, and dark chocolate pearls.” -Rebecca Masson
I’ve actually never been to Fluff Bake Bar, but these His & Her Cakes will forever be in my dreams (spoiler: in my dream I eat both).

Both Hugo’s and Weights + Measures are such solid choices. Pizza is my Valentine, so Weights + Measures’s Roasted Carrot Pizza might actually win my heart.
“We begin by roasting heirloom tomatoes and carrots. Then, we add cheddar, soubise, and dukkah. Cue the red Fresno chiles, throw on a handful of cilantro, sprinkle on a little chili oil, and viola! Our signature pizza is born and available for you through Favor.” -Richard Kaplan
But Hugo’s Enchiladas de Costilla de Res Y Calabaza looks fancy and delicious… and it can be delivered to you right in bed… so honestly there’s no bad in this scenario.
