Accel Lifestyle

This Houston startup makes stink-resistant athletic wear usually, but that same bacteria-averse material also makes for a great face mask. You can go in with a few friends to buy a pack of 10 for $150 online.

We’re starting our cloth mask campaign! Buy 1 Give 1 😷 We’ve gotten requests from our friends over at Houston Methodist Hospital and many other locations in NYC who are on the frontline, and they really need cloth masks!! And now that it’s mandatory, we want to make sure everyone is safe and protected! Get on the waitlist! The first batch will start delivering Monday. We’re making several batches as your orders come. New patterns will be added shortly. Kiddie sizes coming soon. . Handmade in Houston, TX. We used all leftover fabrics from our previous collections. NO WASTE! Not even elastic! We wanted to use what is available to not buy more materials. We inserted a thick, tightly woven cotton between the masks, and each mask is a very dense fabric. And guess what? It’s REVERSIBLE! Make sure to clean properly, hand wash, or gentle tumble in machine, hang dry. . We will be uploading on our website soon, please DM for your order, and we will guide our instructions. . Please share the love, tag your friends, and let’s help our frontline workers!! ♥️ . Stay strong, safe, healthy, and don’t forget to LOVE. This Houston designer is taking a break from making her pretty dresses (though you can still buy them — 30 percent of proceeds go to those in need in the COVID-19 crisis!) to make masks! DM @christylynncollection to order yours.

Chloe Dao

One of our OG designer darlings has also tried her hand at creating face masks and they are so cute — well, as cute as cloth covering your face could possibly be. Plus, there are (almost) too many options to choose from!

Forth and Nomad

Go Green-Magpies & Peacocks “MASKS On” Limited Edition Face Mask Collection: Over the next four weeks, Magpies & Peacocks non-profit design house will introduce a new exclusive face mask from our “MASKS On” limited edition face mask collection along with still offering our normal line up of masks. The “MASKS On” capsule collection features innovative one off and artist collaborative face masks created in house by Magpies & Peacocks and its tribe of designers + makers. This week we are introducing our military textile face mask. Created from authentic US military textile fabric collected by our non-profit design house, these face masks are unique + custom with a variation of original seaming, grommets and stencil printing on this style of masks. As our makers are hard at work with mask production, they are continuing to make face masks and gowns for the medical | essential needs community. Each time a personal mask is purchased for our limited edition collection, two PPE items are donated to the medical | essential needs community. Hit the link in our bio to purchase this mask now, it’s only available for a limited time with limited quantity! Shop one, we give two. This local upcycling nonprofit retailer has made some sturdy masks and, though a lot are sold out, there’s still a few to choose from online. You can ship the mask or have the option for delivery, which might be faster.

Onyii & Co.

Loving the prints from this Houston designer! The $15 masks (available online) and have kid, toddler, male, and female sizes to choose from.

Sam and Davy

This Houston brand is everything! (Little joke there for anyone who has one of their “Houston Is Everything” shirts like me!) anyways, they got masks with all sorts of city and state pride. Prices range around $12 or $15. You can buy online and pick up at their River Oaks pop up.

Space Montrose

Houston’s favorite gift shop has two options online — these pictured are just $10 apiece. There’s also a floral one that’s so cute for $18. Order curbside to get it quick.

Tres Chic

This mother/daughter-run shop is so cute and of course has the cutest masks. They range from $12 to $32. You can order online or stop by the store.
